Progress & Tracking Tools

Mission logs, collectibles maps, trophy checklists and garage inventories. Built for completionists.

What gets tracked

The six categories a 100% GTA 6 run is made of

Every past GTA completion percentage decomposed into the same buckets. These are the checklists being built, sized against GTA V and RDR2 precedent.

  • Story missions

    ~70–80 missions

Main-line jobs for Jason and Lucia, including the branching heist approaches. In GTA V, story missions alone accounted for 69 of the 100 completion points, and gold-medal requirements were tracked separately from simple completion.

  • Strangers & side jobs

    ~20 encounter chains

Randomly triggered encounters that only appear in specific districts, at specific times, after specific story beats. These are the single most common reason a completion run stalls at 96%.

  • Collectibles

    Multiple 50–100 item sets

GTA V shipped spaceship parts, letter scraps, nuclear waste and submarine pieces. Leonida's swamp and coastline geography suggests at least two water-based sets. Our map plots the predicted spawn regions as evidence lands.

  • Trophies & achievements

    ~50 per platform

Platform trophy lists diverge slightly between PlayStation and Xbox, and a handful are permanently missable if you finish the story first. The tracker flags missable entries before you pass the point of no return.

  • Vehicles & garage

    500+ expected entries

Ownable cars, bikes, boats and aircraft with storage location, modification state and insurance status. GTA Online's garage sprawl is the reason a manual spreadsheet stops scaling around month two.

  • Weapons & loadouts

    ~60 weapons

Acquisition source, attachment unlocks and per-weapon challenge progress, saved as named loadouts you can swap between playstyles.

Build status

Trackers ship in order of how badly they break in a spreadsheet.

Completion tracking questions

What we know about GTA 6 completion, and what is still precedent rather than fact.

  • What counts as 100% completion in GTA 6?

Rockstar has not published the checklist yet. Based on GTA V and RDR2, expect story missions to make up the bulk of it, with strangers, collectibles, random events and a set of miscellaneous activities filling the rest. We publish the confirmed criteria within days of launch and back-fill every tracker to match.

  • Are any GTA 6 trophies missable?

Almost certainly. Every mainline GTA and Red Dead has shipped with at least a few trophies tied to optional actions during specific story missions that cannot be replayed for credit on the same save. The tracker marks these before the mission that locks them out.

  • Do collectibles carry over between characters?

In GTA V, collectible progress was account-wide across all three protagonists rather than per-character. With two protagonists in GTA 6, the same shared-progress model is the most likely design, but this is unconfirmed.

  • Will the tracker sync between my phone and PC?

Yes. Progress saves to your browser immediately and syncs across devices once you sign in, so you can tick collectibles off on a phone next to the console and see them on desktop.

  • Can I track GTA 6 Online progress separately from story mode?

That is the plan. Online and story completion use different criteria and different reward loops, so they get separate checklists rather than one merged percentage.
